Receipts are an important part of customer service and daily sales records.

After completing a sale

Check that the receipt:

  • prints clearly
  • includes the expected business details
  • matches the bill total

When to reprint a receipt

You may need to reprint when:

  • the printer had a problem
  • the customer asks for another copy
  • the first printout is unclear

Good receipt habits

Before reprinting, make sure you are opening the correct sale. This avoids giving the wrong receipt to the wrong customer.
