Pause a sale safely when a customer needs more time and continue it later without starting over.

Hold and Resume a Sale

Holding a sale is useful when a customer wants to continue shopping, change an item, or return to the counter later.

When to use hold

Use this option when:

  • the customer is not ready to pay yet
  • another customer needs urgent billing first
  • you need to pause the bill without losing the selected items

Hold a sale

  1. Review the current bill.
  2. Make sure the items on the bill are correct.
  3. Use the hold or park option in the POS screen.
  4. Confirm that the bill has been saved for later.

Resume a held sale

  1. Open the list of held or parked bills.
  2. Find the correct bill.
  3. Open it again in the POS screen.
  4. Continue billing and complete payment.

Good habits

Do not leave too many held bills without checking them. Review held sales during quieter periods so the list stays clean and easy to manage.
