Can more than one staff member use SmartBill POS?
Yes. It is best to give each staff member their own login so activity and permissions stay clear.
Why do some businesses see different fields on the same page?
SmartBill POS is mode-aware. The business system_mode controls which fields, checks, and workflows appear on product, billing, purchase, sale, and stock pages.
Which business types does SmartBill POS support?
The main operational modes are retail, grocery, pharmacy, and restaurant. There is also a manufacturing capability in the wider system configuration.
Should each cashier have a separate account?
Yes. Separate accounts improve accountability and make role control easier.
Can I reprint a receipt?
If your role allows it, you can usually open the related sale and print the receipt again.
How often should I update products and stock?
Update them whenever there is a real change. Do not wait until the end of the week if prices or stock changed today.
What should I do if the printer stops working?
Check power, paper, connection, and printer selection first. Then review Printer Setup and Troubleshooting.
